About the Global Curtin Merit Scholarship
The Global Curtin Merit Scholarship aims to support international students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements. Eligible students will receive a 25% reduction in their first-year tuition fees, encouraging them to pursue their educational ambitions and contribute to Curtin’s vibrant, globally-connected community. Scholarship Benefits
- 25% off first-year tuition fees, up to a maximum of 200 credit points.
- Available to students across multiple disciplines, including Business, Law, Health Sciences, Humanities, Science, Engineering, and the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Global Curtin Merit Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be an international, fee-paying, non-sponsored student of any nationality (excluding Australian citizens).
- Achieve or exceed the academic cut-off score specific to this scholarship, as determined by Curtin.
- Begin studies at Curtin’s Western Australian campuses for the first time in 2024.
- Enroll in a full undergraduate or postgraduate (by coursework) degree program (note: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery are excluded).
This scholarship is merit-based, and students who meet the academic excellence criteria will automatically be considered as part of their Curtin course application.
Eligible Courses
- All undergraduate degrees available to international students (excluding the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
- All postgraduate degrees (master by coursework only) available to international students.
Application Process
No separate application is required for the Global Curtin Merit Scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered once they apply for their chosen course through Curtin’s online application system (https://www.curtin.edu.au/study/applying/international/applying-via-curtin/#apply-direct) as per call letter (https://scholarships.curtin.edu.au/Scholarship/?id=6861). Successful applicants will receive a supplementary letter confirming the award of the scholarship, alongside their official Letter of Offer.
