Monash University invites applications for the Alfred Research Alliance Honours Scholarship (formerly AMREP Honours Scholarship) for students pursuing an honours program at the Alfred precinct in Melbourne. Recipients of the Alfred Research Alliance Honours Scholarship will receive a financial grant of $6,000 for the academic year (48 credit points of study). This scholarship is awarded to 2 outstanding students based on academic merit, providing an invaluable opportunity to focus on research and achieve personal and academic milestones.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Be one of the following: New Zealand or Australian citizen, or an Australian permanent resident, International student, or Australian humanitarian visa holder.
- Must be completing either: Bachelor of Biomedical Science, or Bachelor of Science.
- Must be commencing or continuing a full-time Alfred Research Alliance (ARA) honours program at the Alfred campus.
- Must have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80 or above in their undergraduate studies.
Selection Process
- Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement.
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview.
- To retain the scholarship, recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress through a brief report submitted by their honours supervisor.
