The Fujian Provincial Government Scholarships for 2025 are now open for applications, offering an exceptional opportunity for international students to pursue degree programs at Xiamen University (XMU), one of China’s most prestigious institutions.
Established in 2012 to enhance global educational exchange and cooperation, this Fujian government Xiamen university scholarship program provides generous financial support for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.
Sponsorship Package Offered through Scholarship
Financial Support:

- Bachelor’s programs: RMB 30,000/year
- Master’s programs: RMB 40,000/year
- Doctoral programs: RMB 50,000/year
Scholarship Duration: 1 year, renewable based on academic performance.
Flexible Reimbursement: Scholarship funds are reimbursed in the following Spring after registration and payment of initial fees as self-supporting students.
Eligibility Pre-requisites XMU-Fujian Government Scholarship 2025
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- Meet the educational qualifications:
- Bachelor’s programs: High school diploma, under 30 years old.
- Master’s programs: Bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old.
- Doctoral programs: Master’s degree, under 40 years old.
- For Chinese-medium programs, demonstrate proficiency at HSK Level 3 or above.
