Linnaeus University, in collaboration with global brands IKEA and Södra through The Bridge partnership, is excited to announce the Linnaeus University IKEA and Södra Scholarship 2025. This prestigious scholarship offers full coverage of tuition fees for four students enrolling in select master’s programs.

Additionally, it provides generous financial support for living expenses, making it a transformative opportunity for students seeking academic excellence and professional growth.

Benefits of the Scholarship

The IKEA and Södra Scholarship offers the following benefits:

  • Full Tuition Coverage: Recipients will have 100% of their tuition fees covered for their chosen master’s program.
  • Living Expense Support: Scholars will receive 10,314 SEK per month to assist with living costs throughout their studies.
  • Comprehensive Financial Relief: While the scholarship covers tuition and living expenses.
  • Renewability: The scholarship is initially granted for one semester and will be extended automatically if the student maintains satisfactory academic performance and complies with scholarship regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Program Application: Apply for one of the following master’s programs as a first-choice selection at Linnaeus University via https://www.universityadmissions.se/intl/start:
    • Innovation through Business, Engineering, and Design
    • Forestry for Green Sustainable Development
  2. Submission Deadlines:
    • Submit the program application before January 15, 2025.
    • Submit/upload all required documents by February 3, 2025.
  3. Scholarship Application: Complete and submit the scholarship application form before the application deadline as per this call letter https://lnu.se/en/education/study-at-linnaeus-university/scholarships/the-ikea-and-sodra-scholarship/.

Applicants need to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a Motivation Letter (maximum 600 words). The letter should highlight the skills they aim to acquire through the program, reasons for being awarded the scholarship, the importance of collaborating with IKEA and Södra, their ten-year vision, and a unique personal trait or experience that would enrich their studies.
