Teaching English is one of the most demanded occupations in Thailand for which foreigners are hired and if you are going to land an English teaching job position in Bangkok city then expect a monthly salary of up to US$5000 whereas if you find English teaching job in rural cities of Thailand such as Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Huahin, Pai, or Krabi then you can get paid around US$1000 per month.

I want to tell you some more details about monthly salary for an English teacher (TEFL certified) in Thailand which basically depends on where you start your job, so if you start working at an international private school then your monthly salary can go as high as $5000/month, whereas if you work at public school then your salary would be as low as $800.

With that if you work as an English language TEFL certified teacher then you can expect to have a maximum salary of up to US$1500 per month and if you work as a bilingual teacher at any private school then your monthly wage would be around US$2500.

If you have vocational training or a graduate degree with language proficiency then you can actually work as a chef, concierge manager, front desk officer, or as tourism manager at any international restaurant or hotel in Thailand to get paid a salary of up to US$7000 in Shagrila Bangkok hotel, four seasons hotel, or radisson hotel.
