Eligibility Criteria

The King’s Sanctuary Scholarship is open to students who meet the following conditions:

1# Immigration Status:

    • Asylum seekers.
    • Refugees or individuals under humanitarian protection.
    • Holders of Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain.
    • Individuals with Indefinite Leave to Remain or displaced outside the UK due to conflict.
    • Beneficiaries of Ukraine or Afghan Schemes and other sanctuary forms such as Stateless Leave or UASC Leave.

2# Additional Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must have applied for a Postgraduate Taught (PGT) course at King’s for 2025 entry, with a maximum duration of two years.
    • Cannot access Tuition Fee or Maintenance Loans from Student Finance.
    • Must not hold a postgraduate degree from the UK or abroad.
    • Courses requiring mandatory work placements are ineligible if the applicant’s immigration status prohibits employment.

  • Level of Study: Master’s – Taught
  • Eligible Courses: On-campus Postgraduate Taught (PGT) programs at King’s College London starting in the 2025/26 academic year.
    Note: Online courses and programs requiring mandatory work placements are not eligible.
