MAiSI Scholarship Overview
The MAiSI Scholarship stands as a bold initiative by KU Leuven’s Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences, designed to nurture ethical leaders in the sports world. Each year, up to four exceptional students are granted a full tuition fee waiver to support their master’s journey in sport ethics, governance, and integrity.

Eligibility Criteria
The MAiSI Fee Waiver is open to students of all nationalities who meet the academic and admission standards for the Master of Arts in Sport Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) program.
To qualify, you must:
- Be applying for admission to the MAiSI master’s program.
- Meet all academic and English language requirements of KU Leuven.
- Obtain unconditional admission by the scholarship deadline.
- Show strong motivation and alignment with the program’s values of ethics and integrity in sports.
Note: Students are automatically considered for the scholarship once they apply for admission to the program — no separate application or documents are required.
How to Apply?
You don’t need to fill in an extra form or write an additional essay — KU Leuven makes it incredibly simple.
- Apply for Admission: Submit your application to the MAiSI program via KU Leuven’s.
- Automatic Scholarship Consideration: Once you’ve applied and meet all requirements, you’ll automatically be considered for the full tuition fee waiver.
- Wait for Results: Scholarship decisions are made alongside admission results.

Important: Only complete and unconditional applications will be considered. “Conditional acceptance” does not qualify for the scholarship.
