New Reasons of Work VISA Refusals and Rejections in 2023
Nobody would be happy if their passport got stamped with VISA rejection or if someone have to face visa refusal during interview but now the question is why do visa applications get rejected and how can we avoid our visa refusal as per new immigration recommendations so i wrote this article to address these issues.
Imagine your passport gets stamped with a work visa that you always wanted and now you are all set to fly to a new country to start a new job but i think there are equal chances of getting your visa application rejected for some reasons and out of those some might be stupid mistakes or lets call them blunders that may become a cause of your work visa application refusal by embassy.
Top 5 Visa Refusal Reasons in 2023
So lets find out which 5 blunders you must have you avoid while processing your work visa application in 2023:
1- You Must Sign Your Passport to Make it Valid
I spoke with various embassy staff members of several embassies about the most common reason for which they turn down visa application and to be very honest i was surprised to know that a large number of visa applicants do not even know that they have to sign their passport to make it valid for use and in case if embassy staff find no signature of passport holder on their passport then their visa applications may get easily rejected.
Now you may wonder where to sign your passport so for that you have to see second page of your passport next to your passport photo page where there is a designated area for your signatures and in most passports that signature area says ‘Signature of Bearer or Passport Owner’ (Ref ABTA).
2- Check Expiry date of Your Passport
This is also a common cause of visa denial because most passport owners take things for granted and forget to check expiry date of their passports and for that reason even if their passports have less than six months to expire then even in this case many countries reject visa on passport expiry grounds so make sure your passport have over 6 months of expiry date remaining when you submit your passport for visa at any embassy.
3- Criminal Record or Default Status of Your Sponsor
This is another big factor because of which visa applications get rejected if your work visa sponsor is found to have any sort of criminal history or have defaulted in making his payments and infact if this is going to be a visa refusal reason then you would re-apply for work visa with a different sponsor again and my suggestion to you would be to choose embassy approved sponsor/companies to apply for work visa.
4- Insufienct Bank Balance
You also need to take care of minimum balance requirement stated by embassy for the type of visa you are submitting an application for and accordingly, you will then have to obtain a bank statement. I must also mention that embassies nowadays also require their visa applicants to provide them with ‘minimum balance maintenance certificate’ or ‘account maintenance’ letter issued and stamped by their bank (Ref JNCB).
5- Purpose of Your Visit Differs from Type of VISA you Applying for
I was also informed by visa authorities of various embassies that they have to reject various visa applications just because they are not satisfied with the evidence supporting the purpose of visit as stated by visa seeker and sometimes visa applicants request a completely different type of visa whereas in an interview they mention a different reason of their intended visit to that country which created a discrepancy resulting in visa rejection.
So now i am quite sure of this fact that you will not be committing any of above mentioned mistakes while applying for any visa type and hence that will definitely increase your visa success ratio.
