Launched in 2017, the Global Journalism and Communication Master’s Program (BRJC) is a flagship program offered by the School of Journalism and Communication at Renmin University of China.

  • Curriculum: Includes advanced-level courses in journalism, Chinese language and culture, politics, and multimedia reporting. Students also engage in internships and complete a master’s thesis on practical topics.
  • Credits: Students must complete at least 29 coursework credits and a thesis to graduate.
  • Duration: Two years (one year of coursework and one year of internships and thesis work).

1# Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS)

Type A: Bilateral Program (apply via Chinese embassies).
Type B: High-level Program and Silk Road Program (apply directly to Renmin University and the CSC system).

2# Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship

    • Provides tuition reductions for the first academic year.

3# School of Journalism and Communication Scholarship

  4. Health and Legal Requirements: Be in good physical and mental health and free of any criminal record.
