Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Westfund Healthy Futures Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Student Status: Available to both commencing and continuing students at Charles Sturt University.
  2. Course Enrollment: Must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Dental Science or Doctor of Medicine programs.
  3. Study Mode: Eligible students can be studying online, on campus, or through a mixed mode (online and on campus).
  4. Campus Locations: Applicants must be studying at one of the following CSU campuses: Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie, and Wagga Wagga.
  5. Academic Performance: Commencing students must have an ATAR score of 70 or above, and continuing students must maintain a GPA of 4.0 or above.
  6. Regional Commitment: Applicants must be based in a regional area and have the intention to work in regional communities post-graduation.
  7. Personal Statement: A 500-word response to the question: “I am interested in providing healthcare to regional people because?” is required.
