- Must be an international student from any country worldwide
- Must meet academic excellence criteria set by the host institution

- Cannot combine the Master Mind Scholarship with other Flemish government or major international scholarships
- Must be nominated by the host institution (students cannot apply independently)
- Must meet language and academic entry requirements of the selected university
