AISG Scholarships 2025 January 2025 Intake at NTU Singapore

If you’re an aspiring AI researcher with a passion for fundamental research, the AISG PhD Fellowship Programme presents a unique opportunity. This fellowship, part of AISG’s Research Programme, is designed to support top AI talents by offering a generous stipend of up to S$6,000 per month, full tuition coverage, and additional allowances.

Fellows will have the opportunity to engage in significant AI initiatives such as AI Grand Challenges and AI Technology Challenges, while conducting state-of-the-art research aimed at advancing Singapore’s role in global AI development.

Eligibility Criteria

The fellowship is available for:

  • New PhD Applicants pursuing full-time studies at Singapore’s Autonomous Universities (AUs).
  • Current PhD Candidates (who are two years or less into their studies) at Singapore-based institutions.
  • Strong interest in fundamental AI research is essential.
  • Singaporeans, Singapore Permanent Residents, and ASEAN nationals are especially encouraged to apply.

How to Apply?

  • New PhD Applicants should submit their applications through NTU’s official portal (https://aisingapore.org/research/phd-fellowship-programme/) from October 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
  • Current PhD Candidates should contact their respective AU’s graduate office for nomination details.
