European Union EaP Civil Society Fellowships 2025

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility Project has officially opened applications for its 2025 EU-funded Fellowship Programme, inviting individuals passionate about making a difference in the fields of environment and climate change. This fellowship program offers two pathways: Community Engagement Fellowships and Civic Digital Fellowships, with tailored support and €5,000 funding to implement impactful projects.

EaP Fellowship Benefits

  1. Financial Support: Fellows receive up to €5,000 to implement their projects.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to citizens from Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Key criteria include:

  1. Age: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  2. Language: Proficiency in English (B1 or higher) is required.
  3. Experience:
    • Community Engagement Fellows: Involvement in civil society organizations, trade unions, or community engagement groups.
    • Civic Digital Fellows: Expertise in IT fields like software engineering or data science, with experience in civic technology.
  4. Project Focus: Applicants must propose projects that address community needs, such as advocacy, policymaking, or civic tech innovations.
  5. Proof of Eligibility: A recommendation letter from a relevant organization or professional and proof of English proficiency.

When to Apply?

  • Deadline for Concept Notes: 30 December 2024. Early submissions are encouraged as evaluations are on a rolling basis.
  • Deadline for Full Applications: 7 February 2025 (for shortlisted applicants).

  2. Submit your Concept Note, which includes your CV, project idea, and proof of eligibility.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the Full Application stage during an incubation period.
