USST-CSC 2025 Scholarship Package
The CSC scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including:
- Exemption from tuition fees, registration fees, and accommodation fees.
- Monthly living allowance:
- RMB 3,000 for master’s students.
- RMB 3,500 for doctoral students.
- Comprehensive medical insurance.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be non-Chinese citizens in good mental and physical health.
- Academic Qualifications and Age:
- Master’s programs: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- Doctoral programs: Must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
- Language Proficiency:
- Chinese-medium programs: HSK Level 4 or above.
- English-medium programs: IELTS (6.0), TOEFL (80), or equivalent proof of English proficiency.
Application Process
Follow these steps to submit your USST-CSC scholarship application:
Step 1: Register on the CSC Website: http://www.campuschina.org (Create an account by clicking “Scholarship Application for Students” and log in.)
Step 2: Input Personal Details (Fill out all required personal details, verify the information, and save it.)
Step 3: Select the Program Category (Choose Program Category Type B and click “New Application.”)
Step 4: Input the Agency Number. For USST, use Agency Number: 10252. Ensure accuracy, as the program category and agency number must match.
Step 5: Complete Application Information

- Fill in the “Language Proficiency and Study Plan” section.
- Upload the required supporting documents (detailed below).
- Review your application thoroughly and click Submit.
Step 6: Print the CSC Application Form

Required Documents
Prepare scanned copies of the following documents:
- CSC Application Form (completed online).
- Passport Copy: Ensure validity extends beyond September 2024.
- Highest Degree Certificate: If not yet graduated, provide proof of expected graduation.
- Academic Transcripts: Include records from undergraduate and graduate studies.
- Study Plan Proposal: At least 1,000 words for master’s and 1,500 words for doctoral programs.
- Two Recommendation Letters: Written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Must include all listed items and be completed within the last 6 months.
- HSK Certificate or English Proficiency Proof: As applicable to your program.
- Non-Criminal Record Certificate: Issued within the last 6 months.
- Pre-admission Letter (Optional): Contact USST International Student Office for details.
- Art Portfolio (for arts/design majors): Submit examples of your work, if applicable.
- Supplementary Documents: Published papers or certificates (if available).
Note: Ensure all documents are clear and scanned with professional devices. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translations.
