Taipei Medical University (TMU) is inviting applications from international students for its 2025 scholarship programs. These opportunities are open to Master’s and Ph.D. applicants aiming to study at one of Asia’s leading medical universities.

Scholarship Benefits

TMU scholarships offer financial support tailored to international students. Benefits include:

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

1# General Eligibility:

• • Applicants must comply with the MoE “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.”
  • Those holding foreign nationality and without Republic of China (R.O.C.) citizenship are eligible.
  • Applicants with past R.O.C. nationality or residency in Hong Kong/Macao must meet specific requirements as per Articles 2 and 3 of the MoE regulations.

2# Educational Qualifications:

• • Master’s Programs: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, graduating by July 2025.
  • Ph.D. Programs: A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification, graduating by July 2025.
  • Academic documents must align with Taiwan’s recognition standards for foreign degrees.

3# English Proficiency Requirements:

• • Master’s Programs: CEFR B1 (Threshold) or above.
  • Ph.D. Programs: CEFR B2 (Threshold) or above.
  • Accepted tests: TOEFL (Code: 3225), IELTS, Duolingo, and PTE Academic.
  • Exemptions: Applicants from English-speaking countries or those whose prior degrees were taught in English.

4# Program-Specific Requirements:

• • Certain programs may require additional qualifications or GRE scores (Code: 8834).

5# Financial Statement:

• • A bank statement showing at least USD 4,000 (obtained within the last three months).
  • Authenticated financial documents may be required after admission.
