Northumbria University is pleased to announce the 2025-26 PGT UK International Scholarships, an exclusive opportunity for Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students joining the university in September 2025 or January 2026. This scholarship provides a £3,000 fee discount to eligible international students choosing to study at Northumbria University’s Newcastle Upon Tyne campus.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Northumbria UK International Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an international student with Overseas or EU fee status.
- Be currently studying a Level 6 Undergraduate Degree in the UK at a UK-based institution.
- Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship).
- Be accepted and enrolled in a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at Northumbria University’s Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2025 or January 2026.
- Meet all individual course requirements.
Important Details to Note
- The scholarship is automatically applied as a tuition fee discount – no separate application is required.
- Students enrolled in an Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters who transfer to a non-Advanced Practice or non-Study Abroad route after four weeks will not be eligible for the scholarship.
- Sponsored students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Students progressing from a partner institute with reduced fees or bespoke offers are also not eligible.
- The scholarship is non-transferable; if a student defers their place, the offer will be withdrawn.
- This award cannot be combined with other discounts or scholarships.
- The university’s decision is final, and there is no appeals process.
