About the Ferrero Fellowship

Launched in 2017 through a partnership between Ferrero Luxembourg HQ and the University of Luxembourg, the Ferrero Fellowship is a selective talent support programme designed to foster brilliance in the fields of law, economics, and finance.

Fellowship laureates not only receive a competitive stipend but also gain hands-on experience through an internship at Ferrero HQ during their second year. The placement is tailored to match each student’s career interests within Ferrero’s diverse departments — from legal affairs and innovation to economics and business strategy.


Eligible Master’s Programmes

The Fellowship is open to first-year Master’s students enrolled in one of the following programmes at the University of Luxembourg:

  1. Master in Accounting and Audit
  2. Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  3. Master in European Law
  4. Master in Finance and Economics

Applicants must be officially enrolled in the first year of one of these master’s programmes at the time of applying.


Ferrero Fellowship Package

The Ferrero Fellowship offers more than just financial support — it’s an investment in your future:

  • €2,700 stipend at the end of each semester during the standard study period (based on performance review).
  • If accommodation is not needed in university housing, fellows receive €5,400 per year, paid at the end of each of the two years of the programme.
  • Guaranteed internship at Ferrero HQ Luxembourg in the second year, based on student interests and company availability.

All details are outlined in a formal agreement between the Fellow, the University, and Ferrero upon selection.


Application Procedure

Applications for the 2025–2026 academic year open at the beginning of October and close on 15 October 2025 (midnight):

  1. Personal Statement / Letter of Motivation
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  3. Academic Record – copies of diplomas and relevant transcripts
  4. Application submission.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview with a Ferrero selection committee and evaluated by Programme Directors. Selection criteria include:

  • Academic excellence
  • Civic engagement or volunteer work
  • Originality and clarity in the personal statement
  • Strong communication and language skills (English mandatory; other languages are an asset)

Application Timeline

Applications for the Ferrero Fellowship 2026 at the University of Luxembourg will open in early October 2025, giving students ample time to prepare their documents and apply. The deadline to submit applications is 15 October 2025 (midnight).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews in November 2025, after which the final results will be announced in December 2025. Successful fellowship recipients will begin their internships at Ferrero HQ during the second year of their master’s studies.
