The University of Edinburgh is pleased to offer the Edinburgh Surgery Online Global Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships are designed to support students from eligible countries who wish to pursue Masters-level studies in the field of surgical sciences through online learning.
Sponsorship
Award: Each scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees and includes a contribution towards internet access costs. The continuation of the scholarship is dependent on maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
Eligible Programs
Scholarships are available for the following online learning Masters programs:
- ChM in General Surgery
- MSc in Surgical Sciences
- ChM in Trauma & Orthopaedics
- ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery
- ChM in Urology
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality and Residence: Applicants must be nationals and residents of eligible countries. For a full list of eligible countries, please click here.
- Admission Requirement: Applicants must receive at least a conditional offer to begin one of the specified Masters programs in September 2024.
- Additional Documents: Applicants are required to provide a letter of support, which should be emailed to the scholarship office.
How to Apply?
- Submit an Application for Admission: Apply online for one of the eligible Masters programs.
- Receive an Offer: You must receive at least a conditional offer for admission.
- Apply for the Scholarship: Complete the online scholarship application form, available here.
Application Deadline: The application for the scholarship must be submitted by May 1, 2024.
Result Announcement: All applicants will be informed about the outcome of their scholarship application by the end of August 2024.
