Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the MPTT Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Ancestry: You must be of New Zealand Māori or Pasifika descent. Pasifika refers to people from the independent and sovereign nations of the South Pacific, including Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, the Cook Islands, and others.
- Age: You must be aged between 16-40 years old at the start of your programme.
- Residency: You must be a domestic student, meaning a New Zealand citizen, a holder of a residence class visa under the Immigration Act 2009, or an Australian citizen or permanent resident currently residing in New Zealand.
- Programme Enrollment: You must be enrolled in a programme that is approved for MPTT Scholarship funding.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The MPTT Scholarship covers the full tuition fees for your approved programme. However, it does not cover short courses or block courses that may be part of your study programme. The exact value of the scholarship will vary depending on the cost of your specific programme.
Scholarship Requirements
