Global Scholarship Overview
The University of Otago Global Scholarship is designed to support international students from specific nominated countries who are planning to undertake full-time undergraduate study at the University of Otago. Valued at $15,000, this scholarship significantly contributes to the tuition fees, making world-class education more accessible for deserving students.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the University of Otago Global Scholarship, applicants must meet both the general and specific eligibility criteria:
General Eligibility:
- Applicants must have completed secondary (high) school or have studied at an approved institution that grants University Entrance qualifications outside New Zealand.
- Applicants must intend to enroll or be enrolled in a full-time, degree-level, undergraduate program at the University of Otago.
Specific Eligibility:
- Applicants must be planning to commence their studies from the first year (100-level) and continue through to degree completion.
- Eligible applicants include those from the nominated countries and/or those planning to undertake specific programs of study at Otago.
- The scholarship is intended for students who will be studying on campus throughout the duration of their program.
