The Tokyo Japanese Language Education Center has officially opened applications for its University Preparatory Course and Graduate School Preparatory Course for the 2025 intake. These courses aim to equip international students with the necessary language and academic skills for university or graduate school studies in Japan.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be foreign nationals (non-Japanese citizens).
- Have completed at least 12 years of education outside Japan. (High school graduates with less than 12 years may be eligible if their education is equivalent to Japanese standards.)
- Have a genuine intention to pursue higher education in Japan.

Screening and Admission

Visa Assistance
The Tokyo Japanese Language Education Center provides visa support by applying for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) on behalf of accepted students. Upon receiving the COE, students can apply for a student visa at their local Japanese embassy or consulate.
