About the Fellowship

ARL Fellowship Benefits

Who Should Apply?
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Have completed a Ph.D. or Sc.D. in physical sciences, life sciences, computational sciences, behavioral sciences, or engineering by October 1, 2025.
- Are within 5 years of receiving your doctoral degree as of July 10, 2025.
- Have already made a recognized impact in your field through your dissertation work or other major scientific breakthroughs.
- Demonstrate academic excellence, publication record, and potential for leadership in science or engineering.
Citizenship: No citizenship restriction applies, but all selected fellows must pass a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) background security investigation. Additional approval is required for foreign nationals, including a more detailed background investigation.
