With a total of $10,000 in scholarships available, this program encourages young minds to innovate, create, and thrive in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

Scholarship Overview

The Aureon ITC Scholarship Program is designed to assist students who reside in homes served by an Iowa Independent Telecommunications Company (ITC) and are preparing to embark on their STEM education journey.

Award Breakdown:

  • 1 award of $3,000
  • 2 awards of $2,000
  • 3 awards of $1,000

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Aureon ITC Scholarship, students must:

  1. Residency: Live in a home with active phone, internet, or TV service from an Iowa ITC.
  2. Education Level: Be a high school junior or senior in the 2024-2025 academic year.
  3. Citizenship: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  4. College Enrollment: Plan to attend an accredited Iowa-based four-year college, community college, or vocational-technical school.
  5. Course of Study: Pursue a STEM-related degree.
  6. Academic Performance: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.33 (transcripts may be requested.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete application, which includes:

  1. Essay: A short essay (1,000 words or less) explaining why they are pursuing a STEM-related field.
  2. Activities Summary: A summary (500 words or less) of high school and community service activities, including leadership roles.
