    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must:

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics or Business Administration.
    • Have completed their degree within the last six years.
    • Apply simultaneously to three German universities for admission.
    • Provide proof of German or English language proficiency, according to the chosen program.
    • Not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months before the application deadline.

    Application Process

    Applications are submitted online via the DAAD portal and must include:

    • Curriculum Vitae in tabular form (max. 3 pages).
    • Motivation letter (1–2 pages).
    • Academic transcripts and degree certificates (with translations if required).
    • Proof of language proficiency (German or English).
    • Letter of recommendation from a university professor (currently optional).
    • Certificate of school-leaving qualification and any other relevant documents.

    Application Deadlines

    The application deadline for the DAAD ERP Study Scholarships 2026 is 31 October 2025. The selection process will take place between February and March 2026, with successful applicants beginning their scholarship-funded Master’s studies in Germany from October 2026.

  • UEMOA Excellence Scholarship 2025 for International Students

    The West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) has officially announced the call for applications for the UEMOA Excellence Scholarship Program 2025–2028. This prestigious program is designed to fund higher education training and research across UEMOA member states, supporting deserving students at Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, and Postdoctoral Specialization levels.

    The initiative aligns with the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan (IMPACT 2030) and seeks to empower young leaders in critical sectors like health, engineering, sciences, and economics, while also promoting gender equity in education.


    Scholarship Overview

    Each UEMOA member state will select ten (10) outstanding students to benefit from this program. The scholarships are fully funded, covering all study-related costs, and are only open to on-campus programs—online training is not eligible. Importantly, these awards cannot be combined with any other scholarships.

    Special emphasis is placed on advancing Human Health research and training, but eligible fields also extend to engineering, economics, accounting, ICT, and environmental sciences.


    Who Can Apply?

    1# Bachelor’s Level

      • Must be 21 years or younger by December 31, 2025.
      • Hold a 2025 baccalaureate certificate (all streams accepted).
      • Achieved a minimum average of 14/20 in the 2025 exam session.
      • Eligible fields: Agronomy, Industrial Chemistry, Livestock and Animal Health, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, ICT, Environmental Engineering, Regional Planning, Architecture, Renewable Energy, and Accounting (DECOGEF).

    2# Master’s Level

      • Must be 24 years or younger by December 31, 2025.
      • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 14/20 average.
      • Eligible fields include: Agronomy, Biotechnology, Coastal Development, Civil & Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, AI, ICT, Environmental Engineering, and Accounting (DESCOGEF).

    3# Doctoral Level

      • Must be 28 years or younger by December 31, 2025.
      • Hold a Master’s degree with a minimum 14/20 average.
      • Priority areas: Agronomy, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, AI, ICT, Development Economics, International Trade, Market Regulation, Industrial Economics, and Accounting (DECOFI).

    4# Specialized Training in Human Health (Master, DES, or PhD)

      • Must be 35 years or younger by December 31, 2025.
      • Hold a Doctorate in Medicine or Pharmacy with at least 14/20 average.
      • Specializations: Cardiology, Pediatrics, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Neurosurgery, Tropical Medicine, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Maternal Health.

    Application and Selection

    • Each selected student will receive an official notification letter.
    • Final results will be published on the UEMOA Commission website: www.uemoa.int.
    • Selection will be highly competitive, focusing on academic merit and alignment with priority development fields.
