Who Can Apply for CPU CSC Scholarship 2026 Cohort?
The 2026 intake welcomes motivated international students who are ready to pursue advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, and related fields. To qualify, applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health and must meet the academic standards set by China Pharmaceutical University.
For the Master’s track, candidates must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree, be under 35 years old, and demonstrate a strong academic background. PhD applicants must already possess a master’s degree, be under 40, and show evidence of exceptional academic performance and research potential.
Language proficiency is essential: Chinese-taught programs require HSK Level 4 or higher, while English-taught programs demand IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+, unless exempt as a native speaker or English-medium graduate. Step 1: CPU Online Application

Upload all required materials including passport, degree certificates, transcripts, study plan, physical exam, non-criminal record, language scores, and two recommendation letters.
Step 2: CPU Review & Interview
Applicants go through a thorough academic review and an interview. Those who pass receive a pre-acceptance letter.

CPU Scholarship Application Timeline
The application window for the China Pharmaceutical University CSC–CPU High-level Postgraduate Program opens on November 1, 2025, and closes on February 28, 2026. All applicants must complete the CPU online application and upload their documents within this period to be considered.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo the CPU Initial Review and Interview in February or March 2026. Interview details will be sent directly to each applicant’s email, and failure to attend the interview will automatically result in disqualification.
Once the interview is cleared and the pre-acceptance letter is issued, applicants must submit their complete CSC scholarship application on the CSC portal by March 15, 2026. This is followed by the CSC Expert Review in spring 2026. Final admission decisions will be announced by CPU through email or their official website, with successful scholars expected to register on campus in September 2026.
