About the DREAM Program Project of EMJM
The European Master in Dynamics of Renewables-based Power Systems (DREAM) is a prestigious two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree. This program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the European Union’s renewable energy targets and the evolving challenges of modern power systems.
This master’s program combines disciplines such as Power Systems, Smart Grids, Renewable Generation, Automatic Control, and Power Electronics to give students a comprehensive understanding of the future of power systems. By fostering an integrated, holistic approach to smart power system challenges, DREAM prepares students to become highly skilled specialists in this critical field.

Who Can Apply?
Students: The DREAM program is open to students holding a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) with at least 180 ECTS credits. Applicants must have a background in one of the following fields:
- Power Systems
- Smart Grids
- Renewable Generation
- Automatic Control
- Power Electronics.
Visiting Professors/Researchers: DREAM also welcomes visiting scholars who are experts in Power Systems, Automatic Control, Renewable Energies, Power Electronics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics. Selected academics will participate in the teaching and research activities of the program and receive a scholarship to cover travel, housing, and living expenses.
English Language Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, as the program is conducted entirely in this language. Accepted tests include:
- TOEFL: CBT 220, ITP 550, IBT 80
- Cambridge Tests: B2 First (173 or higher), C1 Advanced (160 or higher)
- IELTS: 6.5 or higher
- TOEIC: 800 or higher
The test results must be less than 3 years old at the time of application.
