European University Institute (EUI) Traineeships 2025 Now Open

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for an EUI traineeship, you must:

    • Be a national of an EU Member State, a candidate country, or (under limited slots) a non-EU country based on specific agreements.
    • Know English at CEFR B2 level or higher; proficiency in another EU language is a plus.
    • Ukrainian nationals are eligible under President’s Decision No. 40/2025.

For Paid Traineeships

    • You must have completed a full university degree by the deadline.
    • Your last diploma must be obtained within the last 3 years (unless you are currently pursuing further studies).

For Unpaid Traineeships

    • You must be currently enrolled in a recognized university program.
    • These are subject to a formal agreement between your home institution and the EUI.
