Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) Spring 2026 at NTU Singapore

Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore has officially announced the call for applications for its prestigious Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) for Spring 2026. The fully funded research programme will run from 1 February to 31 March 2026, offering an unparalleled experiential research opportunity for outstanding students worldwide.

About the Fellowship

The Global Connect Fellowship is designed to attract exceptional Bachelor’s and Master’s students, preferably in STEM disciplines, who are graduating in 2026 or 2027. The programme targets individuals with a strong research interest and aspirations to pursue a PhD at NTU.

Participants will engage in an intensive two-month research experience under the guidance of NTU faculty, providing a pathway to advanced academic and professional opportunities in Singapore’s vibrant research ecosystem.

Application Process

Students may apply either through nomination or directly:

  • Nomination Route: Seoul National University (SNU) will nominate up to five students. Interested candidates must submit their application individually, download the completed form and the nomination results will be announced on September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

  • Direct Application: Students can bypass nomination and apply independently through the NTU application portal at https://venus2.wis.ntu.edu.sg/NG_APP/Pages/RegistrationIC.aspx until September 30, 2026. Priority, however, will be given to nominated candidates.

The official application window via SNU runs from September 15 to September 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
