GSFS-SNU Scholarship 2024 in South Korea for International Students

The GSFS (Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students) Program at Seoul National University (SNU) is designed to attract talented foreign students to pursue graduate studies at SNU. This program provides various benefits to support the academic and living expenses of international students.

Fields of Study: Available for all graduate programs offered at SNU, including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and more.

Eligibility

    • Applicants must be foreign nationals.
    • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree by the time they enroll at SNU.
    • Preference is given to applicants from developing countries.

GSFS-SNU Scholarship Benefits

    • Full Tuition Waiver: Covers the entire tuition fee for up to four semesters.
    • Living Allowance: A monthly stipend of around KRW 500,000 for up to four semesters.
    • Airfare: One-way airfare to Korea (only for selected recipients).

Application Requirements

    • Applicants must apply for admission to SNU’s graduate programs and indicate their interest in the GSFS program.
    • Submit the required documents, including academic transcripts, recommendation letters, a study plan, and proof of language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS).
