This full-time, in-person fellowship based in Cambridge, Massachusetts offers a unique launchpad into the legal aspects of climate action, sustainability, and public welfare law.
What Does the Fellowship Offer?
Legal Fellows at EELP play a pivotal role in shaping policy and legal thought around environmental protection and energy transition. Here’s what you can expect:

Eligibility Criteria
Required: A J.D. earned within the last three (03) years (as of the start of the fellowship in Fall 2026).
Preferred:

- Background or coursework in environmental law.
- Demonstrated passion for climate and energy justice.
- Strong legal research and writing skills for both academic and general audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Public speaking and stakeholder engagement experience is a bonus.
