In celebration of Keele University’s 75th anniversary, we are excited to announce enhanced scholarships for international students who have demonstrated excellence in their undergraduate studies. The Postgraduate Global Scholarship offers generous tuition fee discounts to help support your academic journey for the courses starting in January 2025 at Keele University.
Benefits of the Postgraduate Global Scholarship
Enrolled international students who have excelled in their undergraduate studies will automatically receive the scholarship as a tuition fee discount:
- First-Class Honours: £6,000
- Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1): £6,000 (previously £3,500)
- Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2): £3,000 (previously £2,000)
Additionally, this award can be combined with the Keele Alumni Discount if you meet the eligibility criteria for both awards.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Postgraduate Global Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled International Students: The scholarship is available to self-funded international students who are confirmed as overseas students for fee-paying purposes.
- Academic Excellence: You must have achieved a First, 2:1, or 2:2 in your undergraduate studies, assessed as per the University’s defined equivalence.
- Course Requirements: You must be registered on and attending a taught postgraduate course that equates to at least one year’s full-time study at postgraduate level and leads to a named award of at least Postgraduate Diploma level at Keele University starting in January 2025.
- Exclusions: The scholarship is not available for students studying MBA, Medicine, PGCE, Physiotherapy, Social Work, PhD, MPhil, or wholly online courses delivered by Keele.
- Funding Restrictions: The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local government, charities, or private organizations.
How to Apply?
International applicants holding offers for selected postgraduate programmes at Keele University will automatically be considered for the Postgraduate Global Scholarship when their application is assessed as per this notice.
