Russian Open Doors Olympiad 2024 Scholarship Registration Open

Exciting news for students and aspiring researchers around the world! The Open Doors International Olympiad 2024 is now open for registration, offering a unique opportunity to enroll in prestigious Russian universities for free. The Olympiad, now in its 8th year, gives winners a chance to pursue master’s or doctoral programs at their chosen university, or even work as a postdoctoral researcher on specialized projects.

The Open Doors Olympiad offers a fully funded pathway to foreign students and researchers to study at Russian higher education and research institutions. Participants can select from 14 subject areas, with education and communication available in both English and Russian.

Tracks Available:

• Master’s Track: Ideal for those with a bachelor’s or specialist’s degree.
• Doctoral Track: Open to candidates with a specialist’s or master’s degree.
• Postdoctoral Track: Designed for those with a PhD or an equivalent qualification, completed by the registration start date of September 16, 2024.

Even those who haven’t completed their current degree programs can participate, provided they complete their degrees by 2025 and submit the relevant documents as soon as they are issued.

How It Works?

The Olympiad includes several stages:

1. Portfolio Submission: All participants will undergo a competitive portfolio evaluation in the first round.
2. Olympiad Testing: For both the master’s and doctoral tracks, successful candidates will advance to the second round, consisting of online tests.
3. Interviews: Doctoral and postdoctoral participants will attend interviews with research supervisors or project leaders.

For the postdoctoral track, an additional video presentation is required to demonstrate alignment with specific research projects.

Important Dates:

• Master’s and Doctoral Tracks Registration: September 5, 2024 – November 20, 2024
• Postdoctoral Track Registration: September 16, 2024 – December 10, 2024.
