Scholarship Benefits

- Monthly Stipend: Financial support of CNY 3,000 for undergraduate and master’s students (general scholars) and CNY 3,500 for Ph.D. students and faculty (senior scholars).

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the China Link Scholarship at Sichuan University, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with good academic standing, character, and physical health.
- Age Requirement:
- General Scholars (undergraduate/master’s level) must be under 45 years old.
- Senior Scholars (Ph.D. level or faculty) must be under 50 years old.
- Academic/Professional Status: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students or employed as full-time academic staff at one of the CSC’s partner universities.
- Admission Requirement: Candidates should obtain either an admission notice or an invitation letter from Sichuan University.

The China Link Scholarship supports studies and research in various disciplines offered at Sichuan University, excluding Chinese language studies. Scholars can choose to study in either English or Chinese, depending on the program’s medium of instruction.
Application Process

- CSC Online Application: Complete the China Scholarship Council’s online application on the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System here, using Sichuan University’s agency number (10610). Be sure to upload all required documents.
- Selection and Notification: After completing both applications, candidates will be reviewed by Sichuan University and nominated for the scholarship. The final application deadline is January 15, 2025, and scholarship admission results will be sent by February 15, 2025.
