Europe Postgraduate Chancellor’s Scholarship 2025 at the University of Birmingham
The University of Birmingham is excited to announce the Europe Postgraduate Chancellor’s Scholarships for high-achieving EU and Non-EU European students. This unique opportunity offers three scholarships of £6,000 each, aimed at supporting students enrolling in postgraduate taught master’s programs starting in September 2025.
Scholarship Details:
- Award Amount: £6,000 towards the first year’s tuition fees for full-time postgraduate studies.
- Eligibility: Available to applicants from Romania, Albania, Georgia, Norway, and Ukraine.

Important: Students enrolling in Business School programs, MPhil, MRes, PhD, and distance-learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this prestigious award, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Program Acceptance: Candidates must receive and accept an offer to study a full-time postgraduate program at the University of Birmingham, starting September 2025, and be based at the Birmingham UK campus.
- Academic Conditions: The student must meet the academic conditions of their offer.
- Residency: Applicants must be domiciled in a country represented by the University’s local representatives, namely Azeri Student or Edmundo.
- Fee Status: Applicants must be classified as an overseas fee payer.
- Financial Readiness: Candidates should have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living, travel, and any additional expenses.
- Engagement: By accepting this scholarship, scholars commit to supporting the University through promotional and engagement activities such as student visits, testimonials, and potentially blogging about their experiences.
- Representative Registration: Applicants must be registered and have their study application attached to one of the University’s local representatives—Azeri Student or Edmundo—by the deadline.

- Register with Local Representatives: Students must register with either Azeri Student or Edmundo.
- Accept Your Offer: Ensure you accept your offer from the University of Birmingham before the scholarship deadline.
- Apply by the Deadline: The application for the scholarship closes on 1st July 2025.
- Selection Process: Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, with announcements made in late July or early August 2025.
