Are you ready to launch your career in a dynamic and innovative environment? EHS Support offers an exciting opportunity to go beyond the typical internship experience. If you are driven, curious, and eager to tackle real-world challenges, the 2025 Summer Internship Program is designed for you.
EHS typically stands for Environmental Health and Safety, a field dedicated to promoting health, safety, and environmental standards in workplaces and communities. Organizations or companies with “EHS” in their name, such as EHS Support, specialize in consulting and services related to environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices. The company’s headquarters is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, though they have a team of consultants working across various locations both domestically and internationally.
They work with industries such as environmental management, compliance, remediation, water resources, and more. So in this context lets get familiar with their internship program:
What the EHS Internship Program Offers in 2025?
- Multidisciplinary Experience: Up to eight interns from diverse backgrounds, including engineering, environmental sciences, and data analytics, will collaborate on a regional-scale assessment of major urban waterways in the U.S. This project aims to identify chemical and physical stressors, assess their impacts, and propose future remediation and restoration strategies.
- Paid Internship: This 10-week paid program runs from June 9 to August 15, 2025. While the work is predominantly remote, interns will engage in three in-person week-long sessions at a dedicated workspace in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with accommodations provided for non-local participants.
- Professional Growth: Interns will tackle independent and team-based assignments, applying forensic and statistical analysis techniques and developing conceptual linkages between sites and their impacts on waterways.
- Valuable Networking: Build connections with peers and professionals in your field while gaining insights and skills applicable to your future career.
