Scholarship Value

The University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship award 2025 will offer a $5,000 scholarship, recognizing and supporting students with outstanding academic performance and leadership qualities.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must:

  • Have a minimum 80% admission average (or equivalent).
  • Be an international student starting your first year of any graduate program at the University of Winnipeg.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities through extracurricular or volunteer activities.

Note: Students in Qualifying Year or Pre-Masters programs are not eligible.

How to Apply?

Interested students must submit the following as part of their application:

  1. A completed application form https://www.uwinnipeg.ca/graduate-studies/funding/presidents-scholarship-for-world-leaders-international.html.
  2. A personal statement (250–500 words).
  3. A curriculum vitae (CV).
  4. You also need 2 references highlighting your extracurricular or volunteer involvement.

Deadline to Apply

The last date to submit your scholarship application at University of Winnipeg is June 1, 2025.
