CSAE MPhil and Queen’s College Cyril and Phillis Long Scholarship 2025
The University of Oxford is offering two prestigious scholarships for African nationals commencing their studies in 2025: the CSAE MPhil Scholarship at Jesus College and the Queen’s College Cyril and Phillis Long Scholarship.
The CSAE MPhil Scholarship is open to candidates applying for the MPhil in Economics, covering course fees and providing a stipend for living costs. Similarly, the Queen’s College Cyril and Phillis Long Scholarship supports one student pursuing either an MPhil+DPhil or a DPhil in Economics focused on development, offering funding for tuition fees and living expenses. The MPhil+DPhil studentship spans five years, while the DPhil studentship is for three years.
Applicants must follow the admissions process for the relevant program at the Department of Economics and meet the eligibility criteria, including being a national of an African country and commencing studies in 2025. Importantly, no separate application is required for these scholarships—eligible candidates who apply for their course by the funding deadline will automatically be considered for internal university funding.
The deadline for both scholarships is 28 January 2025. For more information, refer to the Department of Economics Graduate Funding page and the Queen’s College Scholarships information. Don’t miss this opportunity to advance your studies in Economics with full financial support at one of the world’s leading universities.
