Fully Funded GAIN Summer Internship 2025 by DAAD Germany

Are you passionate about higher education, science policy, and international academic networking? The German Academic International Network (GAIN) is inviting applications for a Summer Internship 2025 at the DAAD New York office, running from May 1 or June 1 to September 15 or 30, 2025.

Internship Overview

As an intern, you will support the organization of the 25th Annual GAIN Conference, the largest forum for internationally mobile German researchers. This year’s event, featuring a career fair and workshop program with over 70 institutions, will be held in Boston at the end of August 2025.

Intern’s Responsibilities

  • Assisting with website content updates on GAIN’s official site
  • Managing social media activity for conference outreach
  • Supporting organizational and planning tasks for the conference
  • Engaging with event logistics and assisting with communications

Who Should Apply?

Ideal candidates should:

Internship Details

  • Location: In-person at DAAD Office, New York

  • Duration: May/June – September 2025.
