About the Internship

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program.
  • Strong interest in national security and international policy.

  • Ability to work on both substantive and operational tasks with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to progressive policy values.
  • Availability to work from and commute to the Washington, D.C., office at least two days per week.

Internship Responsibilities

Interns will be expected to take on the following tasks:

  • Conduct in-depth research on pressing national security issues.
  • Draft and edit memos, reports, and event summaries.
  • Provide administrative support for events and policy discussions.
  • Attend and report on policy meetings, seminars, and hearings.
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned.
