The Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) in South Korea has announced the prestigious DGIST Global Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025, offering outstanding opportunities for researchers across all fields. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet one or more of the following conditions:

    • Korean and foreign nationals expected to obtain a doctoral degree abroad within three months of appointment or have earned a doctoral degree abroad within the past five (05) years.
    • Foreign nationals expected to obtain a doctoral degree within three months of appointment or have earned a doctoral degree within the past five years.

Program Benefits

  • Annual Compensation: KRW 80 million per year (~USD 60,000).
  • Research Funding: Up to KRW 100 million per year (~USD 75,000) for direct research costs.
  • Additional Salary Support: Available for participation in other DGIST-related R&D projects (up to 50% salary allocation).

Program Period

  • Up to 5 years (initial 3 years + 2 years upon successful mid-term evaluation).

Application Process

Important: Selected candidates must arrive in South Korea and start their research by July 1, 2025.
