The Rotary Peace Fellowship 2026-2027 is now open for applications! Each year, Rotary awards up to 130 fully funded fellowships to dedicated leaders worldwide, providing them with an opportunity to study at one of Rotary’s prestigious Peace Centers.

This fellowship is designed for professionals committed to promoting peace and development, equipping them with academic training, practical experience, and global networking opportunities.

Since its inception in 2002, the program has trained over 1,800 fellows across 140+ countries, with many alumni serving in leadership roles within governments, NGOs, research institutions, peacekeeping agencies, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.

List of Programs Available Under Rotary Peace Fellowship 2026

Master’s Degree Program:

    • A 15 to 24-month academic program at a leading university.
    • Candidates study peace and development issues through research-informed teaching.
    • Includes a 2- to 3-month field study designed by participants.
    • Up to 50 fellowships awarded each year.

Professional Development Certificate Program:

    • A one-year blended learning program for experienced professionals.
    • Provides practical skills to promote peace within communities.
    • Fellows complete field studies and implement a social change initiative.
    • Up to 80 fellowships awarded annually.
