The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs has officially opened applications for the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program. This prestigious opportunity is designed for secondary school teachers specializing in English, math, science, or special education.

The Fulbright TEA Program offers a fully funded six-week professional development experience at a U.S. university, allowing participants to enhance their teaching skills, explore innovative methodologies, and engage in cultural exchange.

Program Benefits

The selected educators will experience an intensive non-degree, non-credit professional development program, which includes:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have at least three years of full-time teaching experience by the program start date.
  • Reside and work in their home country at the time of application and throughout the program.
  • Demonstrate strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Show a commitment to return to teaching after program completion.
