John Holland Scholarship 2025 Inviting Applications
The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. and John Holland Pty Ltd. have announced the opening of applications for the 2025 John Holland Scholarship. This annual opportunity provides vital financial and professional support to two Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degrees at a university in New South Wales (NSW).
What Does the Scholarship Offer?
Each selected student will receive a generous $15,000 scholarship to support their academic journey. In addition, where applicable, scholarship recipients may be offered casual or ongoing paid work experience with John Holland Pty Ltd. in a corporate office or on an active John Holland project. This ensures that scholars not only receive financial assistance but also gain hands-on industry experience while completing their university studies.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the John Holland Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and be recognized as such by their community.
- Be enrolled in at least one STEM university course in NSW.
- Have consistently high academic performance in core subjects.
- Be able to participate in casual or ongoing paid work experience with John Holland Pty Ltd. while pursuing university studies.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of a minimum of three members.

- A supporting statement (400-500 words) detailing how the scholarship will assist them in their academic and professional goals.
