About the MDSI Doctoral Fellowships

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

• Hold an excellent master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, natural sciences, or data science-related social disciplines.
• Meet the general admission requirements for a doctorate at TUM.

• CV (including a list of publications and awards, if applicable).
• Scanned transcripts of all degrees.
• Motivation letter (~700 words) explaining their research interests and connection to MDSI.
• Overview of research goals (~700 words plus references).
• Names and addresses of two referees (one may be the doctoral supervisor).
• Optional: Letter of support for the co-funded position (if applicable).
