According to the first-ever AI Skills Survey conducted across 11 EU nations, AI has moved from buzzword to business-critical.
Over 28% of European adult workers now use or interact with AI at their jobs. From warehouses in Germany to fintech hubs in France, AI is transforming tasks, supercharging productivity—and creating a demand surge for AI-specialized roles.
Here’s where AI occupations are booming in 2025:
- Belgium & Luxembourg – Leading with the highest AI integration, these nations are producing a wave of AI policy advisors, data privacy officers, and ethical AI auditors to meet governance and compliance needs post-AI Act.
- Germany – Europe’s AI manufacturing epicenter. New AI roles in automated logistics coordination, predictive maintenance engineers, and AI-embedded robotics design are emerging fast.
- France – A cultural tech hybrid. Think creative AI curators, generative content designers, and AI-driven marketing specialists.
- Ireland – The tech-friendly tax haven is seeing skyrocketing demand for natural language processing engineers, especially in customer support automation.
- Czechia & Slovakia – Tech transformation centers of Eastern Europe, focused on AI-powered cybersecurity analysts and algorithmic risk modelers.

In contrast, 67% of AI users reported that AI made them faster at their job, while 41% took on new tasks due to AI. Only 30% said AI displaced some of their duties.
