How Much Money Can You Receive?

Successful students of Slovak scholarship will receive €500 per month, equivalent to €5,000 for each academic year and the maximum support is:

• Bachelor’s degree: €15,000 over the first three academic years
• Combined Bachelor’s + Master’s program: €15,000 over the first three years
• Master’s degree: €10,000 over two academic years

For 2026/27, Slovakia plans to award up to 170 Bachelor’s/combined-degree scholarships and 55 Master’s scholarships.

One point applicants should understand clearly: this is primarily a stipend scholarship, not an automatic full-tuition scholarship. A public university may waive tuition fees for scholarship recipients studying a foreign-language program, but the decision belongs to the individual university.

Who Can Apply?

For Bachelor’s funding, you generally need to have completed secondary education outside Slovakia and must not previously have studied at a Slovak university, except through academic mobility.
