Program Offerings
The University of Padua offers two (02) categories of scholarships exclusively for non-Italian citizens residing outside Italy, who hold a foreign qualification and are applying to English-taught programs. These include:
1# Padua International Excellence Scholarships

- Up to 62 scholarships for the most meritorious students applying to any English-taught Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Single-cycle degree programme.

- Biomedical Science: 1 (Bachelor in Biology of Human and Environmental Health)
- Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering: 6 (Various MSc programmes)
- Developmental Psychology & Socialisation: 1 (MSc in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology)
- Industrial Engineering: 5 (Various MSc programmes including Aerospace, Energy, Materials)
- TeSAF – Agriculture & Forestry: 1 (MSc in Forest Science)
- Linguistic and Literary Studies: 1 (MA in English Studies)
- Mathematics: 10 (Cybersecurity, Data Science, Computational Finance, etc.)
- Medicine: 2 (Single-cycle degree in Medicine and Surgery)
- Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology: 2 (MSc in Psychology, Social Science)
- Political Science, Law, and International Studies: 2 (MSc in European and Global Studies, Human Rights)
University of Padua Scholarship Benefits
Each scholarship winner will receive:

- A €8,000 annual allowance (gross).
- Full tuition fee waiver.
- Continued support for up to 2 years for Master’s, and up to 3 years for Bachelor’s/Single-cycle programs.
- An opportunity to act as a University of Padua Ambassador during academic events.
- The only cost students cover is a small administrative fee (regional tax + revenue stamp).
Note: Travel, insurance, and other personal expenses are not covered.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:

- Be non-Italian citizens (no dual Italian citizenship).
- Not reside in Italy at the time of application.
- Hold a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate (for undergraduate) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for postgraduate).
- Apply to up to three English-taught programs at the University of Padua.
- Submit the standard admission application; no separate scholarship form is required.

Application Timeline
For unlimited access degree programmes, the second application period runs from March 2, 2025 to May 2, 2025, with scholarship selection results expected to be announced on June 11, 2025. For limited access degree programmes, the second application window is from March 7, 2025 to April 7, 2025, with results scheduled for release on May 12, 2025.
Selected students must accept their scholarship offer and complete all enrolment formalities without delay, as the University may reassign the scholarship to another eligible candidate if acceptance is not confirmed by June 30, 2025.
