Study in Lithuania on a Fully Funded Master’s Scholarship 2025

If you’ve been dreaming of studying in Europe without breaking the bank, Lithuania just opened the doors to a golden opportunity! The Education Exchanges Support Foundation has officially announced the Call for Applications for the Lithuanian State Scholarships for Full-Time Master’s and Integrated Studies 2025 — and yes, it’s fully funded!

What Is This Scholarship About?

This prestigious state-funded program offers 70 scholarships for highly motivated and talented international students to pursue Master’s degree or final years of integrated studies at recognized Lithuanian higher education institutions and the successful applicants will receive:

  • A monthly scholarship of €560
  • A tuition fee grant covering up to the national standard study cost

And all of this while studying in one of Europe’s most affordable, culturally rich, and fast-developing countries!


Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to applicants from the following countries: Uzbekistan, Israel, Georgia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, the United States, Belarus, Japan, Armenia, South Korea, Moldova, China (People’s Republic of China and Taiwan), Australia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and non-EFTA countries.

Here’s how the quotas are split:

  • 20 grants are reserved for students from Ukraine
  • 5 grants for foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin
  • A maximum of 10 scholarships will be awarded to citizens of each remaining eligible country

Eligibility Criteria of Master Scholarship in Lithuania

To apply, you must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or be in the final year of your undergraduate studies)
  • Have a letter of (pre-)acceptance from a Lithuanian university
  • Be proficient in Lithuanian, English, or the language of instruction
  • Not already hold a Master’s degree
  • Be ready to study on campus in Lithuania

Additionally, citizens of Belarus must hold a valid residence permit in Lithuania.

The last date to apply for the Lithuanian State Scholarships for Full-Time Master’s Studies 2025 is 13 May 2025, by 4:00 p.m. Vilnius time.

Result Notification: Applicants will be notified of their results by 1 July 2025.
