What is the PGRA?
The AINSE Postgraduate Research Award (PGRA) offers up to AUD 9,000 per year in additional financial support for PhD students who are already funded through an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship or equivalent. This top-up award enhances your existing scholarship and supports travel and research costs related to work at ANSTO facilities—some of the most advanced research centres in the Southern Hemisphere.

Who Can Apply?

- Be a recipient of an RTP scholarship or another equivalent research-based scholarship.
- Be working on a research project that requires the use of ANSTO’s research facilities or technical expertise.
