The Excellent Freshmen Scholarship is designed to recognize and support academically exceptional students who have demonstrated excellence in high school and international or national competitions. This opportunity is open to applicants pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees at ECNU (excluding 2+2, 1+3, and English-taught BA programs). Freshmen Scholarship Covers
Successful candidates will receive:
- Living allowance of 2,500 RMB/month for a full year (12 months).
- Note: The scholarship does not cover tuition fees or offer tuition exemptions.
Eligibility Criteria
1# Who Can Apply?

- Non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- High school graduates under the age of 25.
- Applicants with excellent academic performance in high school.
- Priority is given to those who have won awards in major national or international competitions.
- Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarships or fellowships.
